The Eagle Industries Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System (CIRAS) is now the armor carrier of choice for USSOCOM (BALCS-R). The CIRAS vest incorporates a single release cable (Patent Pending) that makes the assembly process easier than it's predecessors. There are two versions of the Eagle CIRAS vest, the Maritime (CMS-MAR-CIRAS) and the Land version (CMS-MC-CIRAS).

• Heavy-duty, abrasion and water resistant 1000 denier Dupont® Cordura® nylon exterior construction.
• 1” Mil. Spec. webbing cross straps for mounting MOLLE pouches.
• Detachable shoulder pads.
• Internal and external cummerbunds for tight, secure fit.
• Fully adjustable for height and girth.
• Two styles offered, with each style available in 3 sizes.

1. Place ceramic plate and soft body armor in front and rear vest portions.
2. Feed pull cable through grommet located on the inside of the front vest portion next to the snap. Route cable between ceramic plate and soft body armor and through the grommet in the right or left side of the vest (opposite of your shooting side).
3. Lace cable through paracord loop on chest pull pillow, feed through side cable channel and shoulder stay cable channel.
4. Fold Dacron in half, tie an overhand knot in end and slide washer over looped end. Feed looped end of Dacron through grommet located in the inside back portion of vest under protective webbing. Flip vest back portion over and pull looped end of Dacron taut.
5. Slide internal (elastic) cummerbund through 3" webbingslot on best back portion. Pull excess through and push Dacron loop throughappropriate grommet for sizing. Repeat for opposite side.
6. Slide external cummerbund over internal cummerbund and through main sleeve. Pull excess through and push Dacron through appropriate sizing grommet.
7. Rout shoulder extension under shoulder slot. Be sure to route shoulder stay with pull cable last. Pull shoulder extension throughand push Dacron cord through appropriate grommet. Lace pull cable through Dacron loop. Pull cable should run on top of all adjustmet points and be free and clear of any obstructins. Pull release cable taut and feed end into excess retention slot at bottom of vest.
8. Wrap shoulder pad, padded side down, around shoulder strap, secure with Velcro and tuck into shoulder extension slot.
9. Close back flap panel and secure to underbody with snap.

Cleaning Instructions:
For normal dirt, use a mild spray cleaner or other mild soap and scrub with a tooth brush as needed. Rinse with cold water and air dry. DO NOT machine dry. ALWAYS AIR DRY.

For heavy dirt, grease or oil, treat with a dry cleaning solvent followed by a spray cleaner or mild soap, Scrub as needed with a tooth brush. Rinse with cold water and AIR DRY.

An occasional spraying of WD-40 or Bees Wax on metal hardware, especially if used around saltwater, will preven corrosion and give your EAGLE gear the durability you deserve.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
DO NOT use bleach
DO NOT use harsh or excessive amounts of detergent
DO NOT wash in hot water
DO NOT expose to extreme heat
DO NOT put in dryer

WARRANTY PROCEDURES:
I. Eagle Industries warrants each component of the Combat Integrated Releaseable Armor System (CIRAS) against manufacturer defects or against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of manufacture.

II. The warranty is void should a component of the CIRAS be utilized in a manner considered outside the normal course of activities for which the product was designed.

III. The warranty is void should the CIRAS be abused through improper care and maintenance as set forth in the care and cleaning instructions provided with the system.
